Taking an assessment

What a timed paper does, and what happens if something goes wrong.

An employer can send you a timed paper — multiple choice, written answers, or a coding problem you solve in a split-pane workspace with real test output.

  1. 1Open the link and read the front page. It tells you the time limit and what is in the paper before the clock starts.
  2. 2Use the practice run first if one is offered. It does not count.
  3. 3Answer in any order. Your work is saved as you go rather than only on submit.

If a question is broken or the runner will not execute your code, use Report an issue on the question itself. That reaches the employer attached to the actual attempt, which is far more useful than an email afterwards.
