  • The problem

    Scattered tools

CVs in email, scores in a spreadsheet, notes in chat.

Roles, applications, tests, interviews and messages on one record.

  • The problem

    Who decided what?

Without a record, decisions are hard to explain later.

Every decision records the person who made it. Rules can suggest a rejection; only a person confirms one.

  • The problem

    Candidates left waiting

People go quiet when nobody tells them where they stand.

Bulk actions and in-app messages keep your shortlist moving.

How it works in Winkle.

  1. 01

    Post the role

Draft it from a sentence or write it, then publish.

  2. 02

    Applications arrive

Each one is read against the role, with a fit score and reasons.

  3. 03

    Your stages

Move candidates through the stages you set for that role.

  4. 04

    Test and interview

Send a skills test or an AI interview from the candidate's record.

  5. 05

    Decide, on the record

Advance or reject. Who decided, and when, is kept.

The whole story, on one record.

The application, its fit score, the test, the interview, your team’s scorecards and the messages, in the order they happened.

Every move records who made it, and a rule is named when it moves someone. Rejections are always a person's.

Illustrative. An invented candidate.

Say no kindly, and say why.

Pick a reason for your record. If you share it, the candidate reads it in words written for them. Try one.

Backend Engineer · Paylane

Thank you for applying. The team has decided not to move forward with your application this time.

The team was looking for more depth in some of the skills this role needs.

Illustrative message. The reason’s wording is Winkle’s own: kind, specific, and never names anyone else.

Put the finalists side by side.

Two to four people for the same role, on the same evidence. Who leads each row is marked for you.

Questions, answered.

About applicant tracking with Winkle.

  • Can I set my own stages?

Yes. Each role has its own pipeline stages, and candidates can only move to stages that belong to that role.

  • Is there a record of who decided?

Yes. Decisions record the person who made them. A rule can move or flag candidates, and it is named in the activity feed when it does; it can only suggest a rejection, which a person then confirms.

  • Can I tell candidates why they weren't chosen?

Yes, if you want to. You pick a reason for your record, and you choose whether to share it. A shared reason reaches the candidate in wording written for them, kind and specific, never naming anyone else.

  • Can I import my existing candidates?

There's no bulk importer today. Most teams start with their live roles.
