What the machine reads (X-ray)

Render your CV, read it back, and see the exact text an employer's system gets.

On the Write tab, open What the machine reads and press Show me. Winkle builds the same PDF your application attaches, runs it back through a text extractor, and shows you what came out.

This is a measurement, not an opinion. No model runs and nothing is scored. A skill either appears in the extracted text or it does not — and if it does not, no employer searching for it will find you.

It is free and you can run it as often as you like. After you edit the CV the panel says the result is out of date and offers to run it again, because a receipt for a version you have since changed is worse than no receipt.

What it cannot tell you

Real screening software also maps fields and normalises dates, so passing this does not mean passing theirs. Failing it is unambiguous though: text that is not in the file cannot be read from it by anything.
