Recording your first reel clip
What to say, how long it should be, and what to do with a bad take.
A reel is a short set of recorded clips an employer can watch instead of inferring you from paper. Each clip answers one thing.
- 1Open Talent reel and start a new clip.
- 2Allow camera and microphone access when the browser asks.
- 3Keep a clip to somewhere between 30 and 90 seconds. Several short clips beat one long one, because a viewer can pick.
- 4Re-record freely. Nothing is published until you say so.
